This download contains the ZIPped GEM Distribution Set of the EasyRM 1.06 Glossary Expert profile. You will need WinZip (or any other file compression utility which can process ZIP archives) to unpack the GEM Distribution Set before you can install it.

The EasyRM Glossary Expert profile is a prepackaged solution which offers the functionality most commonly needed during creation and maintenance of electronic dictionaries of terms and phrases, which are used as project reference glossaries. In particular, components included into the EasyRM Glossary Expert profile support:

• Creation, categorization and documentation of dictionaries of project-specific glossary terms and phrases.
• Maintenance of project-specific libraries of reference documentation.
• Basic model management functions, including model cloning.
• Comprehensive report facilities, presenting project dictionaries in easy-to-read web-ready formats.

This release of EasyRM Glossary Expert profile includes the following EasyRM components:

Installation instructions

After you have downloaded the archive with this product, please perform the following in order to install it:

1. Unpack the downloaded ZIP archive into some directory and execute Setup.exe file.
2. If you do not have GEM Configuration Manager installed on your computer, the setup program will install GEM Configuration Manager first. If the version of GEM Configuration Manager that is currently installed on your computer is older then the version present in the downloaded archive, you will be prompted to choose installation type from a list of available installation types (upgrade, install alongside with the old version etc). After you install GEM Configuration Manager, you will be able to browse the contents of the product you are installing and choose installation options for it. If you already have GEM Configuration Manager installed and its version is the same as in the distribution you have downloaded, the product contents will be displayed immediately.
3. Check EasyRM components which you want to install. The GEM Configuration Manager "knows" about dependencies between components, so selecting a particular component for installation will automatically select all its dependencies.
4. Press the "Finish" button to perform the installation of selected EasyRM components. The GEM Configuration Manager will install selected EasyRM components and show a confirmation message after the installation is finished. If any problems were encountered during the installation process, you will be presented with detailed error report.

You have now successfully installed selected EasyRM components. When you install EasyRM components, it is not necessary to restart your computer for the EasyRM configuration to be updated.
