EasyRM Glossary 1.06 Release February 2002

The EasyRM Glossary is the user-level EasyRM component, which targets the creation and maintenance of dictionaries of project-specific terms and phrases.

The EasyRM Glossary provides users with the following facilities:

  • Creation, description and modification of project-specific terms and phrases.
  • Categorization of terms and phrases in term of domains and/or domain areas where they apply.
  • Specification of relationships between glossary terms and phrases, including generalizations/specializations, dependencies, synonyms, etc.
  • Maintetance of traceability links from glossary terms and phrases to information sources where these terms and phrases have originated. (You need to have EasyRM Document Manager installed as well as EasyRM Glossary in order to be able to use this functionality).

Demo vs. Full operation mode

The EasyRM Glossary operates in Demo mode until you acquire and enter a valid license key for it. In this mode, the EasyRM Glossary does not allow you to create more than 10 glossary terms or chapters in any model.

To acquire and enter a valid license key for the EasyRM Glossary:

  1. Visit the Shop section of this web site to purchase a license key for the EasyRM Glossary 1.06. If you want to use the EasyRM Glossary on more than one computer, you will need to purchase a corresponding number of license keys for it.
  2. Start the EasyRM License Manager. If necessary, you may need to download and install the EasyRM License Manager first.
  3. Use the EasyRM License Manager to enter your CustomerID (you will be issued one automatically) and the EasyRM Glossary 1.06 license key.

After having completed the procedure specified above, the EasyRM Glossary will switch to the Full mode, in which its full functionality is available.

IMPORTANT: If you have purchased and installed a valid license key for the EasyRM Glossary but have not purchased and installed a valid license key for the EasyRM Repository, then you will still not be able to create more than 10 glossary terms or chapters per model - although the EasyRM Glossary will allow you to do so, the EasyRM Repository, which operates in Demo mode without a proper license key, will then impose the limit.
