EasyRM Requirement Specification Report 1.06 Release July 2003

The EasyRM Requirement Specification Report is a user-level EasyRM component which allows generation of complete requirement specifications in Microsoft Word format.

This release of the EasyRM Requirement Specification Report was designed for Microsoft Word 2000 and has also been successfully tested with Microsoft Word XP and Microsoft Word 2003.

The EasyRM Requirement Specification Report offers the following features customer:

• Generation of complete or partial project requirement specifications. You can generate a requirement specifications from an entire project requirement set, or chose any subset of the project requirement set to generate a requirement specifications from.
• Flexible contents - you can choose the level of detail the requirement specifications shall use.
• Inclusion of information about relationships between requirements into the requirement specifications.
• Inclusion of glossary terms used in the specifications of the requirements into the resulting requirement specifications.
• You can choose to embed reference documentation into the requirement specification, either as a separate chapter or directly with requirements.
• Report Registration feature allows you to register generated reports as documents in the requirement model, thus allowing to track requirement specification increments.

Demo vs. Full operation mode

The EasyRM Requirement Specification Report operates in Demo mode until you acquire and enter a valid license key for it. In this mode, each generated requirement specification puts a demo message in the header area of each page.

To acquire and enter a valid license key for the EasyRM Requirement Specification Report:

1. Visit the Shop section of this web site to purchase a license key for the EasyRM Requirement Specification Report 1.06. If you want to use the EasyRM Requirement Specification Report on more than one computer, you will need to purchase a corresponding number of license keys for it.
2. Start the EasyRM License Manager. If necessary, you may need to download and install the EasyRM License Manager first.
3. Use the EasyRM License Manager to enter your CustomerID (you will be issued one automatically) and the EasyRM Requirement Specification Report 1.06 license key.

After having completed the procedure specified above, the EasyRM Requirement Specification Report will switch to the Full mode, in which its full functionality is available.
